A Long Journey

here we are at the border of our new home state. now most of us who blog, it is the wife that is the only one who is involved in the blogging. for me, john definately makes fun of me for blogging but i dont care. so anyway, while we were driving john asked me, do you want to stop at the border and take a picture of the texas size for your blog. i wasn't planning on it but for that reason, i decided to stop. plus, when i drive to a new state, i always look for the state sign.

here is my little guy taking a nice nap in the truck. now i will add that out of the three kids we had on this 19 hour journey (mikenna, andon, and my baby nephew mason) andon won the prize for best traveler. he was awesome and did so good both days.
mikenna gave me a smile at one of the stops before we got there.
everytime we stopped andon went straight for the steering wheel whenever he could.
after unpacking a few boxes at the house, mikenna had fun playing in one of the unpacked totes that was laying around.

What a long drive for your family, I'm glad you made it safe. How do you like Texas so far? Why did you have Mason with you? Did Laura and Troy go with you to help move? I'm glad your getting settled in. Keep us posted on the "Heart of Texas". (I did go on my mission there you know, more southern though.)

I will make this comment to cover everything you have done so far. What an enjoyable read and looking at the pictures of your family as you grow. A great way to have a journal of your family's life and experiences. Keep them coming. It is better than television!!

You made it! I know that long drive-you think you're getting close when you cross the state line, then it's like 24 more hours! Can't wait to hear the updates.
