Flashback Friday

today i am flashing back exactly 10 years to may 30, 1998. john and i went on our first date and saw the movie titanic. that was the start of 3 and 1/2 years of dating before we got married. in that time, there were many more movie dates, ice cream dates, lots of other kinds of dates, lots of school dances, lots of sports, lots of kisses, a few arguments, and most of all, lots of fun, laughter, and making memories. we have now been together 10 wonderful years, 3 and 1/2 dating and 6 and 1/2 married. and i know the married years are going to continue increasing for a long long time. john is my amazing husband, my companion, my best friend, a wonderful daddy to our kids, and i love him more and more everyday.

Disneyland- May

our family vacation this year was to disneyland again. we had a blast and the kids had a lot of fun too. the picture below is mikenna and andon with our glasses on while we were driving to california.they are just the cutest.

mikenna's favorite ride is the teacups. last year i rode them with her about 8 times while we were there. but this year, i prepared her, and she told everyone before we left that mommy can't go with me on the teacups because of the baby. and since daddy doesn't like spinning, she only got to go on them once this year. but she was okay and daddy made up for it by taking her on the big rides(space mtn and splash mtn)she couldn't ride those last year.

one of the highlights of our trip is we went to ariel's grotto and had lunch with the princesses. mikenna was so so excited. andon, on the other hand, was not to happy to be by any of the characters. it was awesome and we had a great lunch. here we are with cinderella.

i love this picture. we went to see a bug's life show, and these were the 3D glasses. andon and i left early out of the show. he couldn't handle the air in his face.

A New Hat

andon is 16 months old and has 4 hats. every time john is at the store with me, he is always looking for a hat for andon. so when i was at target, i saw a cute blue baseball hat and new john would be happy if i got it for andon. of course, they had pink ones too so mikenna picked one out as well. so here we are getting ready to go to the park for a picnic and i took some pictures of the kids with there new hats.

at the park, andon just wanted to walk up and down the sidewalk so mikenna, being the big sister she is, stayed by andon to keep watch and make sure he didn't go to far. i just love this picture because it was sooo adorable watching them walk together.

Flashback Friday

i am so sorry about the sideways pictures. i posted these pictures by myself and i don't know how to get them straight. if anyone could teach me how to fix them, that would be great. thx

i thought my kids looked so adorable and i was very proud of there costumes because i spent two months of all my free time making them. i started when mikenna was born, i made her costume for her first halloween so this year i had to make andon's for his first halloween. then i got crazy and made mikenna's as well.

mikenna, of course was a penquin. she didn't want to be at first but i needed her to match andon, so the deal was the next year she could be whatever she wanted for halloween

andon, my little guy, was a lion. his mane was pretty beat up by the end of the night but isn't he just the cutest ever.

we went trick or treating with my sisters and there kids so here are all the kids right before we left.

New Blogger

hello anyone who is reading this. i have finally started a blog and it is very exciting but i am not good with computers so it will probably take me some time to get good at this. so for the next couple of posts i just want to catch everyone up on my highlights of 2008. so i will be blogging stuff from the past couple of months. anyway, i hope everyone enjoys looking at my blog.
