well where do i start. probably the business, since that is the whole reason we are out here. well, i haven't had a husband for about the past three weeks for he has been gone all day and most nights trying to get the store set up and ready to open. the great news is that today we passed all the final inspections and can open as soon as we are ready and so that will be this friday. YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!! after months and months of waiting and waiting, going through many ups and downs in the process, and having no money we finally can get things going and have fun.
two weeks ago my sister laura, my bro in law troy and there five kids moved here to texas. i am so excited. for those of you that knew me in az my sister laura and i were very close and leaving her was hard. but for the past couple of months janell and i were close and had a lot of fun together. so now that she is full flegged into the business laura came just in time. we have enjoyed lots of days hanging out together, playing yahtzee, and mikenna has her girl cousins to play with again. i still miss all my family and friends in phoenix but it is nice to have some here too.
mikenna is growing so much and is so ready to start school. she gets bored and needs things to keep her busy. but i enjoy her help around the house and with the baby. she has got real brave carrying kelton around the house and picking him up to play with him. she is so girly. every morning she picks out her clothes, and a necklace to wear, and earings, and hair ties, and nail polish. she loves to wear my shoes around and play dress up.
andon, my little boy. he loves to play basketball. he has like 10 balls but only likes to play with one specific one. he loves high school musical movies and last week we bought number 3. this is an every day affair to watch musical 3, as andon says it. he loves to play outside and copy and do whatever mikenna does.
kelton, my snuggly boy. he is so happy and so adorable. he loves to hang out in his walker. his favorite thing to do is suck his thumb. and now i have noticed he even sucks his finger. he has one tooth and the second is not to far behind. the other night he slept from 7 to 4:30. it was awesome. but it only lasted 2 nights and then we were back to getting up 3 times a night, 2 on a good night.
well i think that sums up most of my life right now. hopefully i will get my camera back soon and can take more pictures and update more.

well yea! i was going to yell at you for being gone so long but i guess those were good reasons and you made up for it by giving a good update. glad all is well and that the store will finally open soon. pj did give me the message that you called but i think it was a while after you did. he also said you would be calling back, which i've been waiting for since i seem to have miss placed your number. anyway, call me so we can talk cause i'm sure there is lots more to talk about. but thanks for the update!!! i was starting to wonder...
Yay for your very own house! I can only imagine how crowded it was before. And that's great news about the business finally getting up and going! That's must be a relief! You sure have been busy!!! It's a good busy though! Things are moving in the right direction. Now your whole family is almost over there huh?! What is AZ going to be without the Parks' family? :(

Wow you have been busy! I'm glad you are back to blogging, and that the store is up and running! How fun to have a new home and I hope Kelton catches on to the sleeping through the night idea! Can't wait to see pictures and Yea, Laura and fam are there!
Great update, Kimberly! I missed your faithful blogging. Sounds like you've been super busy & great changes have been happening. I am so impressed with all of your patience and hard work getting the store open! Congrats!
I am so glad the store will open soon! That is actually sooner than I thought. And horray that you have your family with you. We miss you so much here though. Tear... tear..... the hormones... you know!!!
